Just curious....
Has anyone seen the white and black PSP's running side by side ?
Is the screen actually any better on the white one ?
I have done a few searches for threads about this but came up blank.

I think its just a rumour,
It goes back to ppl saying psps made in japan have sharp screens whereas psps made elsewhere have samsung lcds.
I can confirm that psps made in japan have SHARP lcds, ive opened mine.
Ive seen articles that have 2 psps next to each other and one does appear to look better but how can i really tell on a computer screen.
The only way to tell is to open up a non jap psp and for someone to tell me what kind of screen they have.
I read one guy say his non jap psp had a SHARP lcd anyway so i dont know what to believe either thus i think they all have the same screen and all look as good as an other.

i've had the two side by side, not opened tho, and i can confirm that the jap is better, not by a lot.. its really only visible during certain games, like burnout and other games like that.. other than that it may not be noticable to you and i.
but it is a fact that the us ones are cheaper, and the jap ones are better lol.

I've had a Black PSP and a White psp and I have to tell you, the White psp's screen is better (which is the JAP). Pictures speak louder then words so check this out:

Sudds u not like it , u got it online? i havent got 1 w8ting for ps3 but they still look very good

That pic of the monitors is not of psp lcd its from LCD computer monitors, to really find out whats going on someone with a US psp whos opened it up before do it again and tell me if youve got a SHARP lcd
youll find it in the bottom left hand corner saying "SHARP"
If its all sharp and theres still a difference then i dont know might be something in the sushi.

NO NO NO..THE PSP'S ARE THE SAME PRODUCT ALL AROUND.. I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME...MY FRIEND HAS A JP PSP AND IT LOOKS THE SAME AS MY US PSP...ITS BS TALKING...LOL

I heard that the European ones and all the PSPs made after the European PSP launch in the US have Samsung screens. Not sure tho.
