I have two computers. the one upstairs has all of my iPod music and movies on it. The other one has the internet.. I re-formatted Anchorman to a .mp4 (quicktime) format. I am wondering if there is a program that can put the .mp4 formatted movie onto a DVD-R. Ive tried a couple programs but it wouldnt budge... any suggestions on a programs to download to achieve this?

Yes!!!

This was my first ever question! The simplest way i found is using nerovision! You just add the file, and click copy to dvd (after the burn speeds etc)!!

Its available on trial mate, but its pointless because the trial version only lets you make cds, not dvds. You may aswell buy it.

I think this is a pretty modern if not the most up to date version:

Hope i helped :D

Erm, all i can find is:

http://www.bluechillies.com/list.html?k=burn+mp4+to+dvd

But i think they all cost.

An alternative but a more complicated way is to download this (or something similar):

http://www.riverpast.com/en/support/tutorials/convert/mp4/avi.php
This will convert your mp4 file to avi.
I think thats free, you can then burn these files to dvd as a data disc if your using nero.

See this thread:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/326119#1935739

However, The easiest way i can think of is nero, i would invest in it seriously.
Again, you also use could use av one video converter,
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Video_...
But that leaves water marks on the file, well is meant to, i converted a file from my phone to mp4, and it left the marks, but when i converted mp4 to 3gp (my phone format) it didnt leave any marks! ou could try burning it to dvd format and see if it leaves watermarks??

Hpe i helped a bit.

Thanks ireland!![afterdawn legend]
