Does anybody have issues with Windows XP SP2 when doing backups?

I guess I am just being paranoid and haven't upgraded yet, just I have heard some things about SP2 from friends at work that make me question whether to get it or not.

I've got sp1 on 2 pcs,and sp2 on the other 2 and no differences. I will avoid the upgrade, just to maintain their phenomenal success rate.

OK, I will be upgrading to it then. Just wanted to make sure there were no DRM problems. I really don't trust Microsoft to do anything for just the consumer.

I like to keep security tight on my system though. It is also used for ALOT of online gaming, besides my backing up stuff.

I work for a computer OEM/MFG and talk to our tech support regularly, the only issues with Sp2 are in the windows based copying and ripping programs. These programs can cause an issue with copying because they employ software that will only allow you to use the disks on that same computer, microsoft was getting high that day or something. Anyway, if you aren't using a Windows program to rip/burn SP2 shouldn't be a problem.
