Alright, so this is where I am right now..

I got my ps2, I got a network adapter, a 20 gig seagate hd, and a 256mb pendrive.

I want to install the independance exploit onto my memory card. I dont have a mod chip or a flip top or any software such as swap magic or along those lines. I DO have a gameshark for the ps2, when I bought it, it came with a read only ps1 gameshark. I lost the gameshark disc for my ps2 but I still have the ps1 gameshark disc.

I have read that you can use LaunchELF with a pendrive, making it super easy/convienent to install the independance exploit onto the mc. I dont know how to do that, ive transfered the fiels in the LaunchELF zip file onto the pendrive, put the pendrive in the ps2 and started it. did nothing.

I thought maybe I could use keylauncher, I cant get that working either.

I thought maybe I could use ps2menu-k, But I cant get that working either.

Basically what my ultimate goal is, is to install the independance exploit onto the mc, so I can install a patched copy of HDLoader. My goal is to be able to transfer games onto the hd to play them.

Im almost about to throw in the towel and just buy an AR with an evo drive.

I almost feel there is something im seriously missing out on at this moment, It doesnt seem like it should be this stupid and complicated.

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance, I know many people have gotten this shit to work properly without much trouble, so I guess ill just ask for some knowledge from the pros. Thanks :D
