hi,ive just done my first back-up.vice city original was scratched beyond repair.used dvd de-crypter to read iso and write it to dvd-r.using swap magic 3.6,game booted up.not long after,it crashed and disc red error appeared on screen.have since noticed scratch on disc,will this be the reason why it crashes?thanks for any advice recieved, :)

could be many factors
1. what speed did you burn it at?
2. what media did you use (example TDK 8X DVD-R)
3. is your burners firmware up to date?
4. did you make sure to shut down all other programs and not use the PC when burning it?

burnt at 2.4x,dont know rest,trying again with new disc,unscratched.will let you know how i get on.many thanks,steve :)
