hi, i found this website that plays imported games, i have the uk ps2 and the imported games say PAL on them, does this mean that i will be able to play them or does PAL mean nothing?

well since you live in the UK PAL is what all your specific games are encoded in. I assume the PAL you see is from the WWW and you shouldnt worry about being able to run it if it gets on a disc you burn. NTSC is what you have to convert or worry about.

Yes, PAL is the standard where you are at, and NTSC is the standard here in the USA.
So playing PAL games should be normal for you, it is the NTSC you will have to worry about because the screen rates on TV's here are different then there.

I just said that, but converting, it wont look like the native game. It will be cropped i think.

yes, usually a game that is converted, or one that you changed screen modes in swap magic to play will have some screen cut off.
Usually at the bottom.
