Anyone can help me with this issue. Recently I been having problems with copying and viewing movies. I try to copy Fun with Dick and Jane and that's when everything started. I used DVDFab, the updated version, then use VOBblanker, the shrink/nero to burn my movie. The movies will burn but when I input that into my DVd play, I get an error message, stated "WRONG DISC", OR " BAD DISC", now when I try to burn any other movies, I get the same problem.. So, my problem that I'm unable to burn anymore movies. When I input the burned disc into my computer, I don't have the all the VTS files but for some weird reason I'm unable to view it. I uninstalled, DVD Decrypter, DVDFAB, VOBBLANKER, DVD SHRINK, but I'm still get the same problem.. Anyone having this problem. The weild thing is that I'm able to view the movie on my computer, just burning it to a disc is giving me problem. I' wondering if I need to get a new DVD burner. ANYone with suggestion!!! PLEASE help.

You mean you can play the original on your computer but can't play the burned copy, right?

If this is the case, then I would say the problem may be with the blank disc or the burn process.

What brand and type of disc are you using?
What program did you use to burn the copy and at what speed was it burned at?

If in fact you meant that you can play the copy on your computer but not on a standalone DVD player, then the problem could be with compatibility. Some standalone players, especially older ones, are a bit picky when it comes to the booktype of the disc. Some will playback formats of DVD recordable (DVD-R, DVD+R (W) or DVD+R DL) and some will not and require a standard DVD-ROM booktype. If this is the case, then some DVD burners are actually able to change the booktype of a DVD+R to DVD-ROM to "fool" your standalone DVD player into thinking it is a commercial press of a DVD-ROM.

Always use good quality blank media. Verbatim is always a good call. Don't be seduced by those 50-spindles you find in the $2.99 bin at your local car wash! :)
