Have just bought a Liton dvd recorder LVW5115GHC and I have noticed that one of my recordings has a lip synch problem, so has anybody else had this problem.

Also I note that there is a Firmware upgrade LNMPE019 so if I download this what benefit will it be to my recorder, and/or maybe cure the lip synch prob?

I have the lip sync problem also with my 5115, but only when I play the dvd on my cyberhome player. It works fine in the LiteON. My problem is it won't use +Rs only +RW. I did the flash along with the MV hack and reset the region with the remote to zero (region free). The firmware flash is the same as the newer 5116. I will burn some more TV and see if it is improved. I think it might be the digital cable feed or the cyberhome player.

I upgraded to the new firmware and it seems ok now, I use Philips +rw 1-4x speed so I havent tried any other format as I dont really have a need--- yet.

I've just bought a LiteOn LVW-5115GHC+ and I'm rather disappointed with lip sync. Also, as I believe it does NOT have RGB in (despite what it says in the literature), the recorded material is rather 'muddy'.

Does the LNMP019 firmware upgrade resolve the lip sync problem? What other improvements does the upgrade contain.

Hope someone can help, else I'll probably have to take this back to Tesco in the UK for a refund.

Since I upgraded the firmware I have not had a lip synch prob so suggest give it a try
