Presuming you have copied the film to HDD with shrink, you just need to open Nero.
Then make data DVD.
Inside the window make a new folder labelled video_ts and copy the files from within the folder you have into that new folder and burn.
The easiest way to do it, is to just make sure you use the option to burn to disk with Nero, the program will do everything for you.

If you have Nero then use the program in it called Nero Recode. Choose what you want to do after the program opens i.e. Recode and entire DVD, or Main Movie or Remake a DVD. On the next screen choose Import a DVD and browse to where your file is and open the VTS folder, choose DVD5 in the bottom or set to custom of 4364 and hit next. Choose your burner and speed no higher than 8x in fact 4x is best and then hit ok. Should compress and burn your file.

what is the difference in a regular video file and a video folder with the video_ts and audio_ts?
Were the plain ol single video files once the viede_ts OR vice versa?
Most of the time the audio_ts is empty. Why is that? In fact I am looking now, there is no audio_ts
Thanks

sorry forgot to add, I have checked off "check this box..." but I am not getting replies. Any idea?
(How come disks burned with like cdburnerxppro dont play on allmachines. they for instance play on my cheapie single dvd player in my br. but they won't play on my Pioneer nicer, but two years older player in the living room. Is age of the player and technology an issue?)

Man, I am doing this now. I am sure all three options worked. I actually am trying the one that appeared more confusing. The recode one. I like to understand everything so I took the challenge.
This is Sickening Easy...if it is working like I think
I'll let you know

I tried all 3 methods.
The one confusing recode method that I thought was easy did finish, but the disk only played 12 seconds then would freeze. It did it on all dvd players and the puter and I did it again, so it must be the process.
The next process, simply burning data dvd does not work. The resulting file is not appropriate or some error like that.
And the link that gave very clear instructions on how to use Nero7, It on step 5 gave no freaking idea of how to get those files in there...
Anyone have any idea now?
Thanks so much. But frustrating.

Open Start Smart and choose Nero Burning Rom, this is how to burn a file that is already correct in size for a DVD5 disk. Choose NBR
Choose DVD, DVD Files and then new
Browse to where your files are and choose them
Drag your files over to the compilation aread, make sure you have DVD5 choosen, choose the correct burner and then hit burn
Choose the correct burn speed, stay with 4x for now and then hit burn
Nero Recode is easy here is another guide that shows the process just skip down until you get to the Recode part.
