Hey Guys,

I have been looking for an easy way to get the programs from my tvdrive to my computer.

Telewest has disabed all the nice stuff at the back (SATA, USB, Ethernet etc) and I can't find any firmware to enable it (and probably wont)

I guess i could just take out the HD and plug it into my computer. Has anyone tried this?

is there a microswitch to let telewest i have cracked open the box?

You can hook up an external sata hdd or replace your existing hdd in the DVR but once you do this you have to reformat the hdd within the dvr. This of course makes it unreadable if you connect it back to your PC.
