DVDFab Decrypter error!

Ok im using DVDFab Decrypter and an error message keeps popping up, "Get DVD information fail. 4096
What is this and how could i start to fix it?

Try uninstalling DVDfab, download the current version from here;

http://209.172.35.173/download/DVDFabDecrypter29.exe

Reinstall the current version and see if that does the trick.

Yeah, for some reason the message still comes up. I tried downloading the newer version but the message still popped up. Thanks anyway, though.

You could also try to do a system restore to a point where DVDFab worked.

I ran in to the same error code when i was trying to backup my backup! However i tried to save a buck and went with a cheaper brand of blank media. I won't make that mistake again, now i only buy the SONY DVD+R 4.7GB X16's...i have'nt had any problems since. a nickles worth of free advice.. you get what you pay for! :P

As John123 have stated, you need to "completely" uninstall its older version, then get the new one and install it on your system and you should be fine. If after doing the 2 mentioned steps, then there is something else on your system that conflicts with DVDFAB Decrypter.

I've been using DVDFAB Decrypter since it was first introduced and so far it has never failed me. It has been working and still is 100% flawlessly.
