ITRY TO COPY THE DICK AND JANE BY SONY I CAN'T DO IT I USED ANY DVD & 1CLICK DVD PRO WON'T PASS 1% IT SAY ERROR. PLS. HELP

anydvd will do this movie - make sure you have the latest version of AnyDVD.
check the disc for dirt/scratches

I just cloned and watched Fun with Dick and Jane. Just make sure your AnyDVD is up to date, I used version 5.9.5.6 and it found 6 different types of copy protection on it. See below for that. Shrink should work fine as AnyDVD is the important one although I used CloneDVD2 2.8.9.2.

Video DVD (or CD) label: DVD_VIDEO
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

RCE protection not found.
Found & removed wrong DVD structure!
Found & removed structural copy protection (Arccos, Puppetlock)!
Found & removed invalid VOBUs!
Found & removed Autorun from Video DVD!
Found & removed 7 bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

That's a full load alright, about the only thing missing is Ripguard. Sometimes it helps to use the new ripper included in AnyDVD and open the cleaned and processed files from the hard drive. With a good cleaned source, a person should be able to open the HDD files and use just about any transcoder or encoder of choice. If the AnyDVD ripper won't rip, I'd suggest checking the source DVD.
