I have a swap magic 3.6 plus disc. Everytime I boot the disc the first time it seems to boot fine. But after I put the game in and play it for awhile and try to boot the swap magic disc again it would just go to the
Playstation logos then not boot the disc after that. The disc would just keep on spinning and I would have a black screen. After I let the system rest for a few hours it goes back to normal and I'm able to boot the disc again. Why is this happening? I've search all over the net for a solution and haven't found anything. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

happens due to the heat, the slimline PS2 is real bad about that.
Try sticking a small house fan in front of the uinit blowing in the vents to keep it cooler.
They overheat after just an hour or so in a house that is not kept cool with AC. It is just one of it's downfalls.
I took mine to a friends house when on vacation, and he didn't have AC, mine did the exact same thing, even with original games. the more it heated up, the more times i had to press reset, or put it in standby mode and let it sit for a few minutes before changing games.

The slimline really needs an intercooler :)

Thanks for the info man, but I even try to run the game without the whole top case and it still does the same thing. So basically I'll put in the swap magic 3.6 then I put the burnt media in and run the game. I'll try it just to see if my game is running smoothly. I do this for a good minute. Then I put the system back to sleep mode and put the swap magic disc in. It does the same thing and load it up just fine, but after it goes to the Playstation logos. The disc just keep spinning and it won't load the Swap Magic Disc. The screen just stays black.
