Hi just purchased this swap magic etc, basically i can play my ps2 game on my pc using emulator so i no it works fine but my problem is that when i burn it to a disk using decrypter or alcohol20% or nero

it doesnt load up using the swap magic start up now facts:-

I installed all the magic keys correctly cause it spins the disk
I start up swap magic dvd disk
i press normal mode then asks me to inseert the game disk so i do then ok then pal then it reads and then the msg dissapears like normal i can see the laser and here it moving and the disk is spinning okay but i can leave it spinning all day and i just get a black screen

can any1 tell me basically how to burn a image file and whats best to do that for ps2

also i need to no exactly what settings i set be4 process please

i have been doing it like this so far

1. being using sony DVD+rs and also tried the verbatim dvd-r too all at 2x and tried 4x speed

please help me on this as im getting seriously frustrated and i no its a simple problem in the bruning program

What games is it your backing up? some games need to be patched/rebuilt to work with SM. Use DVD Decryptor Mode > ISO Read, the Mode > ISO Write to burn your games. Also with DVD D try selectiong the mds file instead of the ISO.

mainly motogp4 and tomb raider legend i d/l off tinternet and it works on emulator so i no its not cuz of dodgy copy

Can i ask what burner you have and what media you are using? I know that Tomb Raider is a pain in the rear to burn. I used cmc media on a pioneer 109 and old samsung burner and each and every time, it would not work. It wasnt untill i bought a new drive (NEC 4570) and started using GO5 media it burned ok.

Dunno about moto gp though but media type and/or drive may be the contributing factors. Trying using Nero express and choose the burn image options. Works every time for me at 4x.
