I realized that I might have posted in the wrong forum but since my problem is about my PSP and Windows/PC and I need all the help I can get, maybe it's not against the rule to ask you guys to see my post in the other forum. Maybe you could help me... Please. Thanks!

search usb in the psp section

you'll find many a topic on this.

if it recognises it in safe mode then something that runs in normal operation (that has been shut down in safe mode)

is stopping your psp from being recognised

thats what id say anyways

Just read your post. Well, I figured that something is "stopping" the PC/Windows to recognize my PSP during NORMAL operation when it connects easily when in SAFE Mode, and that's what I would like to know. I really don't know how to troubleshoot my PC to know what program or device is in conflict or stopping my PSP to connect to my PC. I tried to browse the internet but in vain. So I was hoping that someone in here might help. I would like to know what programs or devices doesn't work during SAFE MODE that normally conflicts to other devices when running in normal windows operation.

When you connect the USB, go to device manager and go to update driver, select you mass storage device driver manually sometimes it doesnt do it for you.

also look for usbstor.sys in your C:/Windows/System32/Drivers folder...
see if you have that, which i assume you do cause its recognized when in safe mode.
