i brought magic keys 2 but i cant put tool c in the ps2 slimline.
can somebody please tell me if i can open upthe playstation and block the sensors in there or do i need to install a fliptop
any advice will be helpfull

I always assumed the thin 1's needed a fliptop.

no, you can either buy an aftermarket flip top.
Or a set of tools (magic switch, ghost switch, slimtool)
The problem is that they are made by so many different places that they never seem to be the exact same. I can not tell you how many times i have seen posts where people could not put in tool C
Since i got a modchip i have no idea how they go in, but i am sure someone can tell you. That or you can do a bit of searching on these posts. Just search "magic switch"

I use swap magic and all i remember for the thick ps2's was that u had 2 remove the cd tray cover so it could go in.

yes, the older PS2 you can use a slidecard, which is why you have to remove the DVD tray panel on the front so it can slide in, but that method is a pain. A fliptop case cover is a lot easier but costs a little more. and make sure you buy it from a good site. ask around if you want one and get one from a plce that a few people reccomend
