Network adapter disk in NTSC AND I HAVE SWAP MAgic 2

Hey all, i just recently got back from hong kong and bought myself whilst i was their a network adapter and fitted it fine any everything but the disc for installing the stuff on the memory card is in ntsc us and im in australia and tried my swap magic cd 3.0 but nothing loaded.
Its a original disk and i have the dvd 2.0 and the cd 3.0 for swap magic and assumed that the 3.0 could run ntsc but nothing is happening and its a original disk.
Can someone suggest what i can do to without buying something. Like i dunno some disc hack or file loader because i couldnt be bothered wasting another cent on it but i will do anything that is free to load the software on the memory card and play some madden.

If the swap magic discs are NTSC and your system is PAL, you will need to buy the PAL version of Swap Magic
Plus 2.0 is way,way outdated so you would want to replace those anyway. Upgrade to 3.6 as you will have a lot less problems with most games, especially from different regions, as you will with 2.0
As far as the disc for setting up the network i am not sure, but once again if it is NTSC and the system is PAL i do not think it would work. But you may be able to set up the network settings manually.

Everything is PAL excpet the network disk but i heard somewhere that 3.o cd version can run NTSC originals.
How else can i setup the network because im not particulary worried about ne thing else excpet getting it 2 work.

You can't use an NTSC network disc with a PAL system, and i doubt you will be able to even get the ethernet card to work, since it wasn't meant to be used with a PAL system...

NAw the network adapater fits and it will work the only thing is i need the network information to enable it 2 work.
Ne body no how i can get the information onto my memory card?

It might fit, but it won't work...
But if you want to try and configure it anyway, use on of your storebought games that has online capability's that have built in Network Config.
(games from the socom series, and the tony hawk series have built in network configurations)

Well i guarntee it will work :) But thankyou very much for that info. I was thinking about trying the memory card boot thing but yer good thinking. Rugby league 2 should have it

Alright u smart asses i figured it out. I used swap magic 3.0 and cd loader 7 and whalllalaaaa. DING DONG IT WORKED!!!!

Ok now im stuck at the isp setup because my router sets every ip automatically. This is going 2 be a fun 1 to work with because i think the connection is trying 2 reach the usa but i wonder as well that if its a hong kong product if all network adapters authenticate through their.
Everything is fine with the hardware after it ran the initial diagnostics.

Does anybody have a localised version for australia of the network adapter software because its trying to sync with some dnas in america. I can confirm that the network adapter is found but the ethernet is not being picked up and that circle is in red up the top. Should it be green if any connection is found?

Told you it wouldn't work.... I have 2 ps2's, one PAL, One NTSC, and i had 2 NTSC Ethernet cards...
Needless to say, i needed a PAL Ethernet card for the PAL console, cause the NTSC one wouldn't work with my PAL games....
But again, be my guest, keep on trying and wasting your time..

Yer but ive just got conformation that i need a european nat disk to register a connection. The network adapter works fine they are all built the same apparently just the disk is for the localisation.
So im not wasting my time ;)

Alright man i dont see anything about trying to run it with a PAL game. I want 2 obtain the NAT PAL disk for localisation to connect to the ps2 server maggot.

look, there is no need for a war of words.
That is a battle you will not win.
People here DO know what they are talking about, that is why
people like The Fiend and myself are answering all the questions and not asking them.
If you want help then take thess little pieces of advice.
1. Don't flame the other memebers
2. when someone gives you some advice, try it. Just do not get arrogant and say they are wrong and you know it will work. Because you have not got it working yet on your own so there is a possibility that you are wrong.
3. post with foul language will only get you 2 things, no answers and banned by a moderator.
4. you sit here bad mouthing us, yet do you not see that we are the only 2 people here on the site who are even attempting to help you?
I have been helping people here for many years now, so a little respect is in order. I have earned it.
