Hi, I would like to know the better way of removing commercials from a tv show I recorded on my RCA dvd-recorder, and then burn it to a new dvd mmedia,when I finalize the disc on my dvd-recorder I get tow folders VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS, and that is it. I dont know what to do.
Any comment, directions in the right way will be greatly appreciated.
As you can tell I am a perfect newbie to this, I hope I can learn from all of you wise guys

There is a program called videoredo plus that will scan the video for commercials and allow you to cut them out although i believe it has to be in mpeg format.

Im sorry i guess it will work with and save VOB files. I really havent used it much so you might want to check it out first.

rolando75,

You might try to rip the files to your HD with either DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter. Then use DVD Shrink or Nero Recode to cut out the "junk".

In DVD Shrink or Recode, you will need to re-author the main menu only and use the Set Start/End frame.
