Just bought this phone on Ebay where I was told NO SIM CARD and NOT BLOCK. It was on Orange. I get the following message - Phone restricted - with a T-Mobile SIM and nothing with a Vodafone SIM. Anyone out there who can provide me with a steer. Thank you to anyone that provides me with guidance.

Hi charles01, I have already founf the IMIE code and also tried 3 of the DCT4 codes, but afraid to try any others in case I'm locked out totally.

There must be a master code that resets everything against the IMIE code????

If you bought the phone on ebay maybe they have already tried more than 5 codes, that means you can't enter anymore codes. But you can always take it to a local shop and get it unlocked for a fee. So it's not like the phone is damaged or something.

Remove the SIM card, Power On your Cell phone.
Press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked.
