ok so anyone please help , ive tried to copy to dvds and this keeps coming up along with a couple of other things, so anyone at all
my eternal gratitude will be yours so please help!!!

PMA Update Failure error message is the result of either poor quality media or the need for a firmware update...

First, update your burner's firmware to version A106, get it here;
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1973

Second, update nero to version 6.6.0.18:
Write down your nero serial# and then uninstall the version of nero you currently have from your system using the general cleantool found here:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.

nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

Package 2
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Last, slow down to a burn speed of 4x instead of 8x, a good brand of media to try is verbatim.
