can any one help me backup my copy of hostel. vob blanker skips over the movie, saying something about a multitangle.

There are numerous thread about Hostel on AD. A simle search should fix you right up.

@kelliebe, mrpat67 is right there are a lot of threads, but I just used CloneDVD 2 and it was flawless. AnyDVD running in the background. I have VOB Blanker, but didn't need it...if you want I would just download a 21 day trial and see how Clondvd 2 works for you.

Vob Blanker (Make sure when you get the multi angle message that you set everything to process, If you leave the angles on Skip of course it's going to SKIP the main movie or other things)
Process ALL files (or remove Previews studio screens etc if you like)
and then DVD Shrink or Nero Recode2

The same thing happend to me with "Howl's Moving Castle".
Do what tmfloria wrote. In VOB Blanker, right click on the skipped movie. The context menu will appear. Change the status to Process. Process all files.
