You might want to remove and reinstall Decrypter. Does it hang if you don't try and change the write speed?
Make sure you are using good media. Maybe Decrypter along with your burner is getting stuck trying to figure out the write speed for your blank media. Do you get any error messages?

If you are running XP, try a system restore.

Hopefully you tried removing and reinstalling Decrypter, Shrink.

If you are using Decrypter for burning only then you may want to try ImgBurn. This is the same burning engine used by Decrypter, only updated. It was made by the same guy who wrote Decrypter and works very well for burning. It cannot decrypt though.

The main reason I ask you to install this is to see if it is Decrypter hanging up or something else in your system. You can replace Decrypter files with ImgBurn files so Shrink will use it to autoburn.

To do this you need to replace a few of the Decrypter files. Here is a guide for doing that by jmet:

You may want to check out your burner as well. Try and burn a CD or some data. I'd get a couple of DVD-RW discs so you can try this without wasting media.
