Hey guys, I have all of my consoles hooked up to my tv right now and wanted to hook them up to my PC monitor. I saw a box from I think logic and was wondering if anyone has it or has tried it. Also I wanted to know if anyone has heard of a product out there that will convert a component video signal. I have the component cables running with my PS2 right now. Is there a component cable/box thjat will hook up to my monitor and output the same level of quality?
Just get a video box or a external TV tuner or something for the monitor. If you have a good monitor, the results is pretty good. I got a external TV tuner connected to my monitor, and I play my PS2 using my LCD that way. You could get an internal TV tuner, but the external ones have better resolution, and the internal TV tuners also need a good computer to run on
Yeah the problem with internal ones is that the signal is processed by the computer, as opposed to an external one, which just sends the signal directly to your monitor, that's why you'll get the delay if your computer isn't fast enough.
Hmm it seems like a very flashy product... it should be more than enough, but I'm not an expert in these things so best to wait for other users to reply :) pesonally I have the Pro TV III (http://www.provideo.com.tw/PRO%20TV%20III.htm), which only supports 1024x768, but then I only use an 15" LCD, and I've had this for ages... you may want to get one that supports at least 1280x960?
