What?? No Verb DL's online at BB this week? Crap!! The old lady is gone for the rest of the week and I can't sneak in any more media? Double crap!

well you could always order online & act suprised when your Big box of Goodies arrive LOL! Or you could make a run to Bestbuy Or wallyworld And get some Japanese made SONY DVD+R 8x Media ( Taiyo Yudens in disguise ) Bestbuy has the sony's onsale $14.99 per spindle of 50 & Wallyworld will pricematch if they have the same media ? Just bring the add so you can show 'em ! Sony's at WallyWorld is a Hit or miss thing - Some have them DVD+R & DVD-R but only Taiwan made - Some have the DVD-R in Taiwan made & The DVD+R in japanese made & some don't have them at all ! A new wallyworld near me has 50ct. spindles of Maxell's that Are MIj but they are 24.99 a piece ! I can get Sony MIj's for $14.99 if The ones at bestbuy are MIJ! But if anyone ever has a sale on maxells Wallyworld here we come ! Trying to decide whether to buy Online or go local with my Belated Xmas cash - Sacrificed my Bestbuy giftcards to buy Vonage set up for the house Had to wait since January for the rebate check ! LOL, I've already got about 250 TY's left, every one arrived with a dirty look from the GF! I just order the shiny silvers from Supermediastore when I want more. I am a recluse and hate to leave the house. It takes an act of God to pry me out of the dave cave! I work graveyard shift so it seems every delivery comes when I am sleeping and the GF is up. If I had a dollar for every delivery I got handed to me from her with a scowl on her face I could retire. Funny, though, she never complains when it's time to watch a movie or when she wants me to make a copy for her mom!

BB had no TY's and wallyworld had no TY's...seems like they're disappearing...looks like i'll start buying all my TY's online and get Verbs on sale

right now it's slow for my business so I should run out and check all the stores and see if Wallmart, Kmart, Cosko, buyers club and the like has those unknown specials going on for Verbatims and Sonys MIJ! Nahhhhhhhhhh save my gas it's too expensive..... I'll just go online and get my usual TYs! why bother! The best is the best untill Taiyo Yuden falls from the mountain top!

yup buying online is your best best NO gas ,NO tax and free shipping its a no brainer .this week i got a 300 pack of Taiyo Yuden TYGO2s DVD-R for 70.95 total. i come home at night and there setting on my porch how easy is that !!!

The bad reason to buy them on line:
Supermediastore.com has 200 shiny thermal Ty-g02 for $57.99. That's ok,but if you booktype the plus format to dvd-rom-look at the huge price difference for the +8x ty shiny thermals: $87.99
It's actually cheaper to buy 300 Ty-g02 shiny thermals for $81 or so as apposed to 200 Yuden000-T02's for $88
This excludes extra shipping and handling charges if they are not included in that price.
On line: Yes,the way to go for dash format media. Not so fortunant for the plus format. To see some huge price differences,check out those prices for Taiyo Yuden shiny inkjet printables. That's why I had to buy 100 of the dash Ty-g02 instead of 100 Yuden000-T02s.. Big ripoff,especially when any local store has the same identical price for either dash for plus.On or off sale,same price-either format!

C'mon, you'd send all those dollars right back to Yuden! Seriously though, I get what you mean about women. My wife is very understanding about what I buy, but many times she has no idea why I would possibly want "that".
