No, its 100% virus free. I use it myself and recommend it. To download something is easy.
You go to a site like torrentspy
Search for what you are looking for i.e. a back-up of w/e
you download the torrent on to your computer( i download them on to my desktop cause its easy to get rid of them after)
Then you open up the torrent in utorrent and it starts to download the file.
bitcomet is also good...
i heard utorrent had spyware, but there was no evidence to back the claim.
edit: be aware that uploading copywritten material is a seriously punishable crime!
peerguardian is a decent program to block some known IP addresses you might not want to share with.
And utorent is excellent if your processor isn't the fastest. Azureus used to lock up my system all the time , but I haven't had anything like that with utorrent. If Azureus is a steak, utorrent is a salad, and its yummy.
yea Azureus uses 16% resources where as utorrent uses 2%
bitcomet lmao..
you must not have utorrent configured right.
the fact is that post private torrenters only allow Azureus and utorrent and nothing else.
i'd recomend bit tornado to any newcomer. i mean i also use that and it always works great. with a 1mb speed i get 132kb speeds so i recomend it , as for Utorrent what would some1 rate it out of 20. i relly would like a less ram and cpu demading torrent program
