XBMC Freezing up at xbmc logo! Please Help

Hey whats up I could use some help here I have a hard-mod xbox with a Xecuter 2 chip for about a year now with no problems. I usually update xbmc every month or so (downloading and ftp) today I download xbmc and ftp'd it and semmed to be working fine. so I started to get all my settings saved (weather, music, network, etc...) and I went to apperence to change my skin from project mayhem III to the orbs and noticed another skin that I didnt put in there, it was just called "skin" I think but as soon as I clicked on it xbmc froze up! so I restarted and now my xbox is frozen at the xbmc logo! the worst part is there is no error message it just sits their and wont open my network connections so I can repair the proplem with ftp dont know how to get to the xbox dashboard either please help
