I'm a long time user of DVDXCopy. It made acceptable copies after extensive prep of the computer, but it wasn't perfect. Tried recently to backup a copy of Narnia by WD. It wouldn't work so bought the new DVDnextCopy. Had to fudge a license number to get lower price as orginal license crashed in their auto reply system. Downloaded after market decoder with no problem. Made a total of six coasters before I asked for a refund. Bought on Friday, gave up on Saturday and requested refund Sunday morning. Couldn't copy entire Video, cut out at end. Early in video it repeated a 5 sec portion.
Ireland is correct. Clone DVD made a flawless backup without computer prep. I just purchased.
I had the same experience with DVDNEXTCOPY. It's too bad, I really liked their other products. Clone works really well, and FABDVD is OK. I still use the platinum version of DVDXCOPY and get good results.
I have been having real good luck with "1 Click DVD" since my last post. Got my money back from DVDNextCOPY, they put the money back on my card in 4 days. Their guarantee is good.
I also tried 1click but it did not work well for me. My copies would always skip and not playback on my dvd player. =(
DVd next copy fixed that though so I am happy.
i do not know where your coming up with how good dvdnextcopy is good software,and the other software is not working for you.
i am the original beta tester of that software..and had a team test it out,the program is full of bugs and written very poorly...
and will work on some computers..will not work on windows 2000.
quite a number had to restore ther computers to get rid of the software..
the best part i gave them free activating keys to try the program.
if you have AnyDVD installed or CloneDVD or any other burning software it has to be remover so that dvdnextcopy will work.

If you have any of those installed, you should consider disabling or uninstalling those and reinstall our software and try our software again.
Here is the free way of making perfect backups:
1) DVDFab Decrypter - this will break the movies encryption while ripping the movie to your HDD
2) VobBlanker - Not always needed, but it will get rid of any protection that DVDFD left behind. VobBlanker also allows you to blank,replace,cut and strip titles.

all I am saying is it works great for me. maybe it didnt work for you but it also works great for all the people I have recomended it to. I tried other programs and none worked as well as dvd next copy. So i am happy with my dvd next copy and i wont buy those other ones.
