just an FYI:
Sam's Club now carries 3x10pks of Verbatim +R DL's for 59 and change regular... Still 2 bucks a disc but that's as low as I have seen.

I was at Best Buy today and saw true 8X Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. They cost more than the 2.4X DL. They wanted $25.00 for a 5 pack

BestBuy will have a sale on the DL disks about once a month, OfficeMax also has the same sale, $19.99 for a 10 pack, keep and eye open here for a thread called "media Sales for the week of...." usually written by either Catfreak or Jasper44. Patience pays off in this hobby of ours..

According to the Webpage below, the latest firmware for your burner is TS01. You should make sure your firmware is updated. New firmware contains write strategies not found in previous firmware releases.
