i tried the genesis 2.6 umd launcher. It didn't work. What am I doing wrong? I have the original and a iso i downloaded and still can't get it to work without upgrading my firmware, which I am not going to do. I know someone said they got it to work. And my question is how? I got to the loading screen in the game, but then it pretty much crashed. I don't know what else to try.

Can someone that got it to work explain exactly how they got it to work? And links to the files they used? I heard it could just be my x folder, but I used the one that came with genesis 2.6 umd launcher. I heard to use the one from the grand theft auto liberty city stories fix, but I couldn't find the fix anywhere. What else can I do? So far, this is the only game I can't get to work and I really want to play it. Someone please help. Thanks.

Try using this x folder: http://rapidshare.de/files/17028377/x.rar.html
(the password for the archive is www.projectpsp.com).

Or you can use RunUMD (download it from:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/404). Start RunUMD, insert your UMD and press O, then press X to run the game.

i tried that x folder you posted, and it amazingly works. the only problem is it didn't detect my memory card so I can't save. Any other way to do it so I can save my games? thanks for the help. thats great I can actually play it. I would like to save though if possible.

the umd works...i haven't tried the iso yet...

actually, i am not even sure how to do the iso. which programs should i try? i got umd emulator 0.8c. is this what i should try? i tried loading with system menu and then ran the genesis umd 2.6 launcher, but it said patch failed when i tried that. so i dunno. any tips? i also tried using umd witht the mph 2.0 game loader, but i didn't think it would work since the game requires 2.6. it just turned off then. and i tried it with fastloader, but that didn't work either. i don't know what else to try, but at least i can still play the umd, although no saving.

EDIT: It says to enter a memory card with at least 128kb, and my ms had more so i figured i wouldn't be able to save, but I was successful in saving a game, so that warning just must be some kind of bug or something.
