i just ordered 4 chips (Modbo 760's aka Chipmod Pro [modchip.ca])
and the first 3 i installed were all on version 8 ps2's and worked perfect.

my fourth, on a version 4 gap ps2 hasn't been so great... i've tried twice now and still no go... even cleaned up a few wires and still nothing... in the diagram is says i can directly solder wires m-r to the board w/o wires.... if i try that they don't match up correctly with the diagram....

so far, the chip bios menu won't come up when i hit triangle and circle, and the ps2 acts like the chip isn't even there... boots up normal ps2 dvd and cd, and dvd movies fine... anything else i get the RSOD...

could this be a faulty chip? plz help me.... thanks
