I have read a few post on here conserning the Ultimate Collection Swap disk for the Ps2. I recently ordered a lid and swap magic's for a friend of mine. His PSTwo is a model number SCPH-70012 (I'm assuming a version 12, correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway they sent me the 1 disc cd version of the above titled disc. I have read that you have to:

"If you wish to use Swap Magic to boot a DVD-R:
boot up the Ultimate Collection disc, then swap in a "large" original DVD game
select Change Media at the bottom of the menu and press X
the display should change from "Detected : PS2 CD" to "Detected : PS2 DVD"
load Swap Magic and follow the on screen instructions"

Needless to say I've done this, also the original I swaped in was a 4.37gb game, but no matter what backup I use large or small it says "Not a Valid PS2 Disc". It says to press X for normal boot and "square" for special boot. I've tried both, none work. If anyone has any ideas please lay them on me. Also thanks in advance.

PS. I know the backups work cause I've personally played everyone of them on my PS2.
