Need HELP with CloneDvd Mobile !!

Hi,

I just got my psp ver. 2.6 downloaded CloneDvd Mobile. Ripped and
transferred my copy of Spiderman 2 directly to the Psp.

It plays fine but in Normal, Full Screen, and Zoom Mode there are
black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Is there anyway I can
get the movie to fill the entire screen?? I chose AVC when I encoded it.

There was also a checkbox on CloneDvd Mobile that said Deinterlace
Video Material. I'm not sure what this means so I left it unchecked. Should
I have checked it.

I put the video on a sony 1gig card.

I really appreciate anyone taking the time to
help me out with this. Thanks.....

Usually if you encode in 320X240 and press triangle you will find options to view mode change the view mode to fullscreen and it should become fullscreen.
Sometimes it doesnt work and you will need to crop your vids, I never used clonedvdmobile so i dont know if it has a cropping function, but look for it and if it has it read this thread http://www.ravenlifepsp.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewto... by sudds about the cropping
If CloneDVD doesnt have the cropping function youll need to download pspvideo9 (its free)

Checking the deinterlaced box will not affect it. (This just affects the quality of the encoded video).

Maybe using a different program will help. Try PSP Video 9. There is a good tutorial here: http://ravenlifepsp.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=15

Thanks Guys,

On the PSP screen when I select the movie mode in original
I get a smaller box with black bars all around the video. In
the Normal, Zoom, and Full Screen mode the screen stays exactly
the same with bars on the top and bottom.

I chose CloneDVD Mobile because I also have AnyDVD, CloneDVD,
and I like there products. What I'm looking for is a product
that will rip, encode, and transfer video to PSP. I don't mind
buying a quality product. Anyone know of one ??

Also as for the Deinterlace Video option, if you use it does that
mean you'll get better quality video, and is there difference
between MP4 and AVC/H264.

Deinterlacing normally wont have any effect if the source of the video is a DVD (it is only for low quality sources such as VHS).

Try using Avisynth to crop the video.

U could use AVS Scripting in conjunction with DGINDEX as this can also eliminate some of the ghosting, but am not sure if clonemobile will accept .AVS files.
