Does anybody know how to compress a avi or know any guides that say how to do it?
Its just that i want to convert the avi into mpeg but its too large and it wont open in tmpgnc. I compessed it before(but i can't remember how) and then it worked. I'd be really pleased for any help.

I have both cinema craft and TMPEG. one thing that I have noticed, is Cinema like DV avi and TMPEG likes raw avi...like from a VCR. If you converted your avi to DV avi, then TMPEG might not work.
