I have sucefully softmodded my xbox and have evox on it now I'm going to upgrade to a 250gig HD need help if I create a slayer 2.6 cd do I just have to replace the HD and load the disc without having to FTP the xbox? Also if I decide to use XBOXHDM do I have to open my CPU and disconnect all HDS including my C drive if so how does the XBOXHDM load when I reboot my CPU replys appreciated

I used XBOXHDM on my softmodded Xbox upgraded to 320GBHDD. It was actully simple to do. Of course I had a guide to do it but the guide I used is no longer posted. But I have seen lots of guides out there telling you how to do it.

As to your quextion on hooking up the HDD to your computer. Yes you will need to open it up and disconnect your computer HDD and replace it with the new Hard Drive your using with the Xbox. When you read a guide it will show you how to make a bootable CD disc with XBOXHDM on it and all files you need on it. So when you turn on your computer XBOXHDM will be started off the DVD/CD drive and install all the files and partions you need.
