Anyone tryed a motorized XINIX CD/DVD repair machine?

I have a memorex unit that looks the same as that one. good for very minor scratches & cleaning only.

yep looks like the memorex machune to me too ! Best bet is to have your scratched up disc professionaly resurfaced ! Some game shops and Video stores have the $2000.00 & up machines to do the Job right ! For a nominal fee I paid $3.00 to have the grandsons Grand Theft Auto san Andreas Game disc Done he had scratched it to the point of unplayability ! Worked like a charm ! came out looking brand new takes a couple of minutes ! Also found a website that does same thing Called Rubberdisc.com They'll even send you the mailer to send your disc to them & if they can't fix it you don't pay ! have'nt used them yet so can't give them either thumbs up or down but you can check out their site & make up your own mind ! You can also fix / polish out many scratches with BRASSO metal polish & a soft cloth it's cheap & it works Though may not look as new /professional a a commercially resurfaced disc ! hope that gives you some IDEAS!nick2004 Goodf luck & happy Burning!
