I made a stop by OfficeMax and picked up (2) 50pk Verbatim DVD+R's and a spindle of Verbatim Cd-R. All I need now are those Verbatim DL's to go on sale! I got caught short and had to pay $26 for a 10pk Verbatim DVD+R DL. :(

It seems as if the Verbatim DL's go on sale in the stores one week after all the Internet store offer rebates on them. If that's the case, it may be a couple weeks before the stores have them on sale. :(

Are there ever any Verbatims +Rs sales online?....I saw a pack of 100 white inkjet printable 16x for 17.99, and another 100 pack shiny/silver 8x for 8.99. Both DVD-R format...extremely good deal, but I booktype my DVDs so it's not cup-o tea.

Yes i hear you on that nearest one to me is about 24-30 miles one way ! so when I go There I'm gonna make a day of it ! Get some Video's , shop for groceries , Hit Tuesday morning with the wife ! & probably biglots too ! I live in a very rural area so when you go to the big city you make the best of it ! Planning on getting my verbatim on ! but if the biglots store has some MIj Sony's may get them too or instead DVD+R ! But verbatims are cool too so either way long as OFFICEMAX has The VErbs I'm gonna be happy !only thing that Pee's me off is that officeMax doe'nt advertise it's sale in the local paper here ! Otherwise I could go to OFFICEDEPOT & pricematch & get brownie points on my Advantage club card ! Besides officedepot is closer to home ! Oh well such is life ! good luck & enjoy!

What are the ones onsale at officemax code out to. I haven't used verbatim's yet but im gonna when I get back in couple months probably. Which ones are the MCC 003 - 004.
If you can link me to the MCC 003 - 004 coded ones @ supermediastore.com.

If any of you deal with Micro Center they have Verbatims white inkjet printable + or -r's 16x for $17.99 for 50 They also have 100 pack slim line cases for $10.99. Chris

Here in Canada this week, Staples (Business Depot) has been having a sale on 3-packs of Verbatim +R DL 2.4x-8x for $9.41 CDN, which works out to about $3.60 CDN per disc after taxes. From what I've seen, that's a pretty decent price, for Canada at least.

My burner seems to really like Verbs 16x more than TYs 8x...I think I might head to Office Max on thursday though, get atleast two packs DVDs, and one pack of CDs..

are you talking about the Verbatims?
the 8x DVD+R = MCC003 MID coding
the 16x DVD+R = MCC004 MID coding
more than likely, here in the U.S., they BOTH will be "made in taiwan" :) which is the same country of origin as ALL my single layer Verbatims that i use and have used...good stuff.

My local OFFICEMAx closed for good There's an officedepot near wherte it was now ! wasted trip on that score ! oh well another sale sunday Maybe SONY DVD+R'S /Taiyo MIj's or something non memorex or non cmc! like Maxells maybe ! good luck happy shopping friends!

saugmon-Congrats on the Major League Verbatim score ! You've heard of my disappearing OFFICEMAX Adventure so won't bother you & everyone again with the sordid details of that ! So in the words of Chef From southpark " FUDGE 'EM ! " I went to supemediastore .com & ordered 600 Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R Thermal lacquers ! & like ASLAN they are on the move according to SMS ! I would have preffered DVD+R to Booktype & A inkjet surface to take the sharpies ink a little better but for .26 cents a piece I 'll manage ! Well Other than that it's down to waiting for them to arrive so good luck & happy burning !
