Can anyone help? I have tried burning Lord of the Rings- Fellowship of the Ring several times and it will start to burn, and then come up with an error part way through. I run it through DeFab Decrypter, VOB Blanker and then I have tried to burn it with DVD shrink and also Nero Recode. I have successfully burned both other LOTR, but I can't get this one to work. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

What is the error message you are getting? I don't think DVDFab Decrypter or VobBlanker are called for to backup this title (could be wrong), DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter should be able to handle them by their lonesome.

I was able to backup all three using only DVDshrink, I reauthored the DVD to backup just the main movie and 5.1 AC3 english audio channel, had shrink create an ISO image file and then manuall burned the image to disk using DVD decrypter at a write speed of 4x.

Instead of Shrink, you could try using DVD decrypter in file mode to rip the video files to your HDD, then open the files with shrink.

Here's a guide (if needed) on how to rip using DVD decrypter;

If your having a problem with this one, make sure the disk is clean and try it again, if its still a no go, then there maybe a problem with the disk, exchange it for another if possible.

Use Anydvd and believe

Nothing special with that movie what so ever. It must be a scratched disk or bad press. DVD Decrypter is a great suggestion since it in my opinion works the best for jacked up disks. Probably saved at least 11 dvds in my collection that anyclone or old school xcopy couldn't do the job right.
