Hey, ive noticed a few wmv hd movies on various p2p sites. Some are 720p and others 1080i. I did d/l one of them and the quality was simply superb but i wasn't convinced that they were from an HD source when compared to the microsoft HD samples.

I was wondering if anyone else has had some experience with 'similar' movies and know if they really were HD or just really well encoded dvd's upscaled to an HD resolution?
