im about 2 buy a psp...
but im afraid the firmware version mite be above 2.0...
wut do they sell in futureshop or something?
(btw i live in canada)

You can virtually guarantee that any new PSP's sold in shops will be higher versions than 2.0. You would e better off checking out Ebay or places that sell second hand units.

If you buy it from a store you can tell the firmware version by the box.

The box should have a label on it that looks like this:


See the circled letter? You can tell the firmware by this. Here is a key:
A-1.50
B-1.51
C-1.52
D-2.00 Unconfirmed
E-1.52 (Now Confirmed it is 1.52)
F-2.00
G-2.01

So don't get anything with a letter higher than F.

verry correct, but ask for the oldest used handheld when inquring for a better chance.
