i just ordered a psp 1.0.I'm wanting to use it just for the feature of playing iso backups of games.Is there any advantage to using a 1.0 vs a 1.5 for this feature alone? I've herd its as easy as drop and drag. Am i gonna need any kind of loader and if so what kind?i have a 2.6 as well i never could get the eloader to work on it. It would always crash right after that first screen that says loading(gta exploit). If theres alreay a thread on this somewhere sorry. didnt mean to double post. Just drop me a link.Thanks for any help.

sell your 1.0 and get a 1.5.
coders love 1.0s and will pay top dollar for one.
you can basically do anything you can do with a 1.5 on 1.0 but you will need to customize all the eboots yourself for your various apps to make them work on a 1.0.
yes there is a program that does this, but since you don't have your psp yet i didnt fetch it.

i just recieved the psp 1.0 in hand.the controls are a little different but im getting used to it. i got 3 import games with it. and two cards.if you find the link to that app let me know, im eager to try it out. thanks

You will only need to customize the apps if they were already converted for use with a firmware 1.5.

thanks, i've now had a little time to study the new psp 1.0 i recieved. looks like the memory card already has plynx,nesterj ,dgen, and some other emulaters. and lots of games...i read a post on UMDEMULATOR 0.80C ..is that the program i need to make isos work. i have a couple of isos. and i have used win rar to unpack them. looks like it just takes up space on the memory stick.but i cant play the game.from that UMDEMULATOR 0.80C thread a few days ago..looks like thats what i need to make them work..i just wanted to ck with somebody that knows more than me before i try it since my version is 1.0. thanks
