Hi,

I'm using PSP Video 9, which I love because you can change
the aspect ratios to fit the entire PSP Screen.

But I'm having a problem, when I rip a movie I end up
with multiple vob video files. Then I transcode them and
copy them to psp. But what I end up with is a movie on
the psp that is broken up into 4 different video files for
one movie..

How do I get the movie under just one video file, so I
don't watch one part of the movie and have to go back to
video and select the next file to keep watching the movie?

I've used 1 Click Dvd Copy, and CloneDvd 2 to rip the
same movie so far.

Someone please HELP ...............

1 click DVD / AnyDVD, Dvd-Cloner 2, Dvd Shrink / Dvd43
Nero, Power DVD, Pinnacle Studio 9.43

Am not familiar with clone dvd but it must have an option for file splitting which is set to 1gig chunks, you must set this to no splitting. This is my DVD Decrypter guide it might give u some insight: http://www.ravenlifepsp.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewto...

As indicated above, it is best you use Decryptor to create one VOB file of the main movie only and then use PSP Video 9 to convert that to MPEG4 - the above guide I found very good on doing this.

There is also another software CloneDVD Mobile from slysoft which supposedly does this but whenever I transfer the file to my PSP, I am getting an incompatible data error message - does anyone know how to convert DVD to MPEG4 using CloneDVD mobile?

*seanbee* Thanks mate glad it helped. I had that clone mobile as i was just doin a test with most of the conversion software out there, and noticed that it didnt rename the file to M4Vxxxxx.MP4 or MAQxxxxx.MP4 but i cant remember if u have to rename it to this urself before or after conversion.

CloneDVD Mobile does infact rename the file properly (at least the version I tested with - filename from taken from test: M4V10001.MP4) but whenever I transfer to PSP it fails.

If I can get CloneDVD mobile to work then I would prefer using it over the DVD Decrypt/PSP video 9 method cause the method is simply (just one software to rip DVD and convert to MPEG 4)

Yes it can convert to h264/AVC, I am not sure about AVS script though, here a guide on using CloneDVD for PSP http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_to_psp_clonedvd_mobile.cfm

Download the trial version and see it you can get it working for me (I have been following the instructions but when it goes over to the PSP I am getting incompatible data error but the MP4 files plays perfectly using QuickTime on the PC)
