I did King Kong with clone/anydvd combo. If I remember it was in the 50% range. Can't remember the exact percent but the copy came out good considering the compression. Like others stated I try to keep it at 70% or higher. I only burn at 4x speed.

thanks arinebear. i will get dvdrebuilder and give it a try. cant hurt anything. but i think my problem might just bet some as the song says. some dust on the bottle..lol get me a can a air and shot it once or twice in my players/burner
on differnt subject, ive heard that you dont need to burn slower with the newer media that is out, some say it is worse off burning at the slower rate. i havent used anything other than 16x+r verbs which i have burned at 8x and twice at 12x. and about 2 dozen maxell002 8x+r half at 4x and the rest since getting the info on burning them at 8x thats what i have been doing at 100% success.. heck come to think of it the problem i am haveing is only with ym verbs..

I still burn at 4x but that is because that is all the juice given on my old NEC. But on my Plex's I will do 8x and they all are fine. In fact the Plextor does better at the 8x for the 16x write speed media, which is still half of what is called for. More than likely it is dust, but if you still have a problem with the Verbs slow it down and see what happens.
