I think this is an interesting issue, that has gained "political" backing. I don't know necessasarily if the politicians' motives are honorable or if they want votes for the upcoming elections. Anyway, What do you guys think about the current immigration situation in America? I've seen students at school fly the mexican flag over the U.S. flag, which is against the law!!! No Flag is suppose to fly over the host nations flag, yet students at Montecello High School, in California have chosen to disrespect the national flag and not only fly the Mexicasn flag above the U.S. Flag, but they flew the U.S. flag upside down, which is a detress signal!
What is this premise, that you should get rewarded for breaking the law. People honestly believe that they should be rewarded for illegally entering this country, while a lot of other immigrants applied lawfully, albeit the process took years, to become citizens. What does this policy say to them, that they should've cut corners? I understand that people want a better life for themselves and their families, but to turn a blind eye on past transgressions and reward criminal activity is not the answer.
No other ethnicity has society molding itself around them. You don't hear any other language on automated customer service but Espanol.
"If you want to stay here, America comes first, last ,and always otherwise go back and make it better where ever you came from but don't try to turn my country into yours by ILLEGALLY entering mine and then demanding all the benefits of a LEGAL citizen of our nation ....."
I'm not trying to offend anyone and I hope this leads to constructive conversation.
