Best Media for LG GSA-4166B drive?

I've recently upgraded my Sony DRU-700A with an LG GSA-4166B drive. I found that my Sony drive performed best with Verbatim +R type disks. What is the preferred media for the LG drive (the sony drive performed very poorly with -R disks, even TY -R's).
Also, where is the best place to buy media in Australia, preferrebly full face printables and 16x.

TY's or Verbs always performs great!! Also make sure to have the latest firmware for your burner...you could also scan the media and find out which ones gives you better results. :)

I use that exact drive and once i updated my Firmware for the drive and I've used 16x Verbatim -R disks burning at 8x and it has worked perfectly.

my Sony DRU-700A chomped thru 1000s of discs, mainly -R Verbatims, but a lot of +R also, and quite a few -R TY's. it loved all of them equally.

My LG 4163B (as did my ailing LG 4167B) also burns all equally, and also the new Benq DW1650. Sounds boring but top notch media just work.

i'm UK so can't help you with the sourcing of discs in Oz
