Ok here's the scoop... I have successfully installed the MC Exploit to boot from a PS1 game.

On PS2s, HDDs show up in the browser (along with memory cards) when NO cd/dvd is inserted. You can press X and run "Play Online" or such directly from the browser.

Now onto my question, is there anyone who has wondered the same as I... Is it able to setup the MC Exploit to be ran directly from the browser by pressing X?

I am thinking there is some type of coding into the HDD files that lets you run them while MCs are just saves... I have browsed the HDD a bit but was unable to open any files... I noticed that they have an INF file rather than CNF file.

I think if we can figure this out and setup an [inf] file or such to say run this [elf] from pressing X this would rock.

Just think, no more using even PS1 games... just boot the PS2, browse to MC1 and press X on MC Exploit.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think this is possible, when you browse files in the default browser, all you can do is to look at the information of the files, but you can't do anything else with them. I've seen this idea before and no one really got anything working for this.
