I removed the modchip installed but still video contains distorted images... what would be the problem.... help anyone.///

As i have said it contains distorted images... the only image that is distorted is the PS2 games but it has no problem in viewing dvd and playing psx games.... The graphics moves from left to right its so very distorted.... What do u think?is there any problem with the motherboard IC's..

he means solder that got onto the motherboard when installing the chip that should not be there.

Do you install this or did you have it done by a pro?
If someone else did it i would take it back to them and have them fix it. If it was not happening before the install then it has to be something they did.
