Hello: I just had two Movies discs that gave me a " This Disc cannot be compressed" display. On the movies package it stated that "some players may not be able to access all features. Dual layer format: Dual transition may trigger a slight pause". Is this another encode that is being used? I could not get either movie to copy. I used "DVD Decrypter" and "FabDVD" and still no cigar? Is there any way to copy this type of movie? Both movies are about 100 minutes long. Ronnies

Ni: The two movies in question are "Venom" and "Shopgirl". I used "FabDVD" and it did decrypt. Just at the end 100% "0" time left it gave me "The handle is invalid". I occurred just prior to being in the "Burn" cycle - so close... Ronnies

AnyDVD is what I use personally for all new movies including "SHOP GIRL", But your not into purchasing software try DVDFab or the most recently updated DVD43.

hello n2dvd: I found out that "DVD43" is no longer available. So, I lose out again. Thanks anyway for your kind consideration.

DVD43 can still be downloaded at various mirrored sites. However, I would suggest you purchase AnyDVD as it is much better at its job than DVD43. While it is not free, a trial offer is available. DVD43 has had many incompatible software issues. But if you are looking for the free route it can still be found at various sites.
