Unlocking tracfones doesnt do you any good. You will not be able to use it with other simcards. You will need to get the phone flashed/unlocked so that you can use other sim cards in it. When you get it flashed/unlocked, you will not be able to use the tracfone sim in it as it requires a software called AIRTANK which is erased when you flash the phone.

After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
