HI there - I am a newbie who needs some help please. If this has been covered before please forgive me.

I bought a flip top for my fat PS2 and put in on. Didn't work. Kept on saying disk read error. I fiddled, faffed and then fiddled some more - no luck. I then decided that I had enough and put the original cover back on - and gues what "Disk Read Error". HELP!!!!!!!! What can I do to get one of the above to work?

Sounds like you have killed your laser somehow - you can either try to recalibrate it or get a new laser

How do you recalibrate it? - Excuse my stupidity. I ran a search for recalibrate and came with nothing. Please can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks
