I was just reading an article on a Pommy Bulletin Board about how the Poms love Ritek GO4 DVD-R Media
Has anyone used these and what have their experiences been when comparing with other quality DVDs like Taioyo Yuden and Verbatim??

Been using them for years, as mid priced media goes I personally rate them very highly, much better than CMC mags, only bad thing is that GO4's are only 4x but apart from that they're great.

I must check them out as they are so so popular up there with you Poms,they are a lot cheaper than Verbs and Taiyos down here and i believe they are incredible to print on,although saying that I am counting the days until the new Glossy Verbatim Printables arrive down here they must look awesome..

@dannykiwi

As the others said riteck are really good and are one of the top media's out there in the market and I have had hardly any problems and if i do its mainly not the disc but encryption.

When it comes to media I go for these two types in this order.

1.Tayio Yuden
2.Ritek

And nothing else... I do suggest stay away from Cmags unless you want to make coffee and tea coasters :)

I'm with gurnard...all i use is RITEK media...if it isnt Ritek i won't touch it.Ritek media plays in all my stand alone players and in all of my friend's too whereas some of the other media which is supposed to be "1st class" won't play right.Ritek is the way to go.
